About these terms

This website is operated by SMK Uplift Consulting LLC, Shaip Kamberi PN, Prishtine, Kosovo. By using the site or contacting us through it, you accept the terms set out below. Where we agree a specific engagement with you in writing, that agreement takes precedence over this page for the work it covers.

What we provide

We provide consultancy, coordination and application-support services in relation to business formation, immigration and residence, staffing, accounting and tax matters, legal formalities, property and rentals, translation and notarisation, and family relocation. Our role is to advise, prepare and organise within an agreed scope.

What we do not provide

We are not a government body and we cannot grant, approve or accelerate a visa, residence permit, licence, registration or any other official decision. Where a matter requires a regulated professional — a lawyer, notary, licensed accountant or certified translator — that work is performed by that professional, and their own terms and responsibility apply to it.

No guaranteed outcome

Nothing on this website or in our communications should be read as a promise of a particular result, timeline or cost. Authorities apply their own criteria and may request further evidence, change requirements or refuse an application. Third-party and government charges, where applicable, are subject to the terms and refund policies of the relevant provider or authority.

Your responsibilities

• Provide information and documents that are accurate, complete and genuine.
• Tell us promptly if your circumstances change.
• Meet deadlines set by us or by an authority; delays in providing documents can affect a case.
• Comply with the laws of your own country and of the country you are dealing with.

We may decline or end an engagement where information provided to us is false or misleading, where an instruction would require something unlawful, or where the relationship has broken down.

Fees

Fees, payment terms and scope are agreed with each client before work begins. Government charges, notary and translation costs, professional fees and similar third-party amounts are separate from our own fees unless we state otherwise in writing.
