Who we are
SMK Uplift Consulting LLC is a consultancy based at Shaip Kamberi PN, Prishtine, Kosovo. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website, WhatsApp, telephone or email.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need in order to respond usefully to an enquiry. The consultation form asks for Full Name, Email, Current Country, Destination Country, Main Goal, Approximate Budget and Message. Only Full Name is required; the other fields are shared if you choose to complete them.
If you contact us directly by WhatsApp, telephone or email, we hold the contact details and the content of that conversation. Where an engagement progresses, we may receive further documents from you — identity documents, company records, qualifications or financial evidence — because the relevant procedures require them.
How the consultation form works
The consultation form does not store your answers on this website. It formats them into a WhatsApp message addressed to +381 65 583 9668, which opens in your own WhatsApp so you can read it before sending. If you opened the form from a country card, that country may be included as context in the prepared message. Nothing reaches us until you press send. The website may use limited technical checks to reduce abuse, but it does not keep a database copy of your name, email address or message.
WhatsApp is operated by a third party and its own terms and privacy practices apply to messages sent through it. If you would prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can email or telephone us instead.
Why we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and assess whether we can assist you.
- To provide the consultancy and coordination services we agree with you.
- To prepare, submit or support applications and registrations within the agreed scope.
- To communicate with third parties on your behalf where you have asked us to, such as lawyers, notaries, accountants, translators, landlords or authorities.
- To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only where it is necessary to do the work you have asked for — for example with a notary, translator, lawyer, accountant, licensing body or government authority — or where the law requires it. Where a third party is involved, we share the minimum needed for that specific step.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as the conversation remains active. Records connected to an engagement are kept for as long as the matter is open and afterwards for the period required by applicable legal, tax and professional obligations. Where we no longer have a reason to keep information, we delete it.
Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive documents until we have agreed how they should be transferred.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. Write to us at contact@smkupliftconsulting.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
This website is intended for adults. Where a plan involves children — for example a family relocation — we handle their details only as part of the instructions given to us by a parent or legal guardian.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page. Where a change is significant and affects an ongoing engagement, we will tell you directly.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@smkupliftconsulting.com or raised with us by telephone on +381 65 583 9668 or +92 332 451 3920.
